I'm an aspiring software engineer learning in public, building real-world projects and developing the skills to create meaningful, user-focused applications. Explore my journey, see what I've been working on and follow my progress through this portfolio website, built entirely from scratch.
My journey into software engineering hasn't been a conventional one. Before writing my first lines of code, I spent over eight years working across people, careers and education, helping individuals navigate opportunities and realise their potential. Along the way, I founded CareerGuide, an initiative born from a simple belief: access to opportunity shouldn't be determined by who you know or where you come from. Building CareerGuide sparked a bigger curiosity. I didn't just want to identify problems or develop ideas to solve them. I wanted to understand how to build the solutions myself. That curiosity led me to software engineering. Today, I'm teaching myself to code, building real-world projects and documenting the process along the way. I'm particularly drawn to the intersection of technology, human behaviour and meaningful problem-solving — where a good idea, thoughtfully executed, can make a genuine difference. I'm ambitious about what I want to create, but equally committed to earning the skills to get there. I enjoy challenging myself, stepping into unfamiliar territory and learning through the process of building, breaking and improving things. This portfolio is a reflection of that journey. Built entirely from scratch, it captures not just what I can do today, but how far I'm willing to go to become better.
I'm still early in my journey, but I'm building with purpose.
